TripKit Terms of Use

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Using the app

TripKit is provided for personal, non-commercial travel preparation. Use it lawfully and do not attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the app.

Accounts

An account is optional. You may use TripKit without signing in. If you create an account using Sign in with Apple or Google, you are responsible for keeping access to that sign-in method secure. You can delete your account at any time from within the app; deleting your account removes your cloud backup and revokes the sign-in grant. Signing out or deleting your account never deletes the data stored locally on your device.

Shared trips

Shared trips let people plan together. A trip's invite code works like a key: anyone who has it can join and edit that trip, so share it only with people you trust. You are responsible for the content you add to a shared trip, and that content is visible to the trip's members. The trip owner can remove members and can delete the trip for everyone; you can leave a shared trip at any time. Do not add content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share. Members can report content or members to us; if a report shows these rules were broken, we may remove the content, remove the responsible member from a trip, or disable their account.

Public trip pages and your content

You keep ownership of everything you create in TripKit. If you turn on a trip's public link, a copy of that trip (including its photos and attachments) is published on the web, where anyone with the link can view it and copy the itinerary. Only publish content you have the right to share, and turn the link off to unpublish the page. For shared and public trips, you grant us the hosting, storage, and display rights needed to operate those features, and nothing more. Recap videos are created on your device from your own trip photos; how you share them is up to you.

Subscriptions and purchases

TripKit offers an optional Pro upgrade through the following in-app purchases:

The current prices are shown in the app before you confirm any purchase.

For the auto-renewable subscriptions:

Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policy.

Bookings and partner links

Trips can link out to travel sites (for example accommodation or activity searches). Some of these links are partner links: TripKit may earn a commission if you book through them, at no extra cost to you. Any booking you make is a contract between you and that provider; TripKit is not a party to it and does not process the payment.

Informational content

Exchange rates shown in TripKit are for reference and information only, and may be delayed, cached, or unavailable. The rate your bank, card, ATM, or a cash exchange gives you may differ due to fees, spreads, and timing. Nothing in the app is financial advice; confirm the actual rate with your provider at the time of your transaction. The rate source is shown in the app under About rates.

Travel phrases, checklists, and destination information are general guidance, not professional advice. TripKit does not provide financial, legal, medical, or travel-safety advice. Always confirm critical information with an authoritative source.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for decisions made based on app content.

Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is published at the URL above.
